Books + Quizzes = SUCCESS
Accelerated Reader is the computerized learning information system designed to help teachers motivate, monitor, and manage student reading practice.
Each student chooses books at his/her reading level, as determined by the STAR Reading Test, and takes computer quizzes on those books. After a student takes a quiz, he receives points based on the book’s point value and his level of success on the quiz he has taken. Each student is assigned a point goal and reading level goal , also based on the STAR score. The data for all students is managed by the Accelerated Reader program.
